Part 5: Give Up, Or Die

17 said, "Now, you wouldn't want me to kill her, now would you? I see she's got a family to raise and she can't do it if she's dead! Would you like that?!"

And with that, he flew out of CC, holding Char, and obviously heading somewhere remote to torture, drain energy from, and eventually kill her.

For one thing was certain, he wasn't exactly pure-hearted. As 17 was flying out of the city, he saw something in the distance. "Aw, CRUD, it's Goku! I better push my power level down and walk the rest of the way."

Walk he did, and it took him an hour and a half. When he reached his cabin, he threw Charlotte into a chair, finished "surgery" on his hand (to absorb energy) and said, "Well, well, well, the Perfectionist's daughter has reached her end..."

He put his hand on her face, and started taking what was left of her energy. And her face was a ghostly white. But by then, Goku and the other Z-Warriors had come busting through the cabin door. Cell said, "17, I never really did hate you, but this has crossed the fuckin' line!!" "Temper, temper, Cell. Take a look at her," 17 said as Charlotte...disappeared. Cell powered up as high as he could and began to pound 17 into the ground.

**at the Check-In station**

Charlotte was wearing a halo over her head. King Yemma was looking through his record book. "Hmm, daughter of Cell...hmm, you're good to go."

The passage to the Other World was quite dull. When she got there, she sighed. No one she knew was there. No one. She sat down in a patch of grass, looking very, very depressed. Then North Kai came by. He said, "Why the long face? Hey wait, I already know how you died." Charlotte said, "I can't stand this. If I wasn't dead already I'd kill myself!" Then North Kai said, "You know, there's a tournament coming up. And I've got the perfect training partners for you. Hey Pikkon, Olebu, over here!"

Charlotte said, "Hello boys, Goku's told me about you guys." Olebu said, "Hey, I was depressed when I left Earth too. You'll get used to it in time." That's what you think, thought Charlotte...
