One Little Girl

Chapter Two

Cell woke up to the sounds of tanks in the distance. They were pretty far off, which gave Cell time to stretch. He tried to get up, but something was clinging to him, very tightly.

Oh yeah the girl... he remembered, she has a strong grip. He pulled her off gently and set her on the floor of his ring. Why was he doing this? He should of made her go home last night. But why didn't he? He looked down at her face.

Her eyes, her eyes are almost...terrifying. He had so many questions running through his head. Why does she have those eyes? Where did she come from? Didn't she recognize him? What's wrong with him?

"Get him, men!" he heard the general shout. Great... I have to lead them away from my ring some how. He flew over about fifteen miles in the sky and waited for them to fire. "What fools," he said, "Do they really think they can kill me with those pethetic machines?"

"He's up there!"

"Fire at will!" Their guns, bazookas, and bombs shot through the sky aiming at Cell. As they hit and exploded as smoke came rising around him, getting thicker an thicker as more and more came.

"Cease fire!" shouted the general. They didn't hear. "CEASE FIRE!"

They all heard that time and stopped emedietly. They general looked through the binoculars, waiting for the smoke to clear. He saw a little green for a second, but it disappered as the smoke cleared. He thought he was seeing things for a second, but a breeze blew across revealing that he wasn't touched. Cell flew over to a bluff and laughed.

"Fire!" they tried again and again till they were out of amunition.

"Fools." Cell fired ki at them all and watched as they were torn to peices. He laughed evily as he flew back to his ring.

"Hey what was that," the girl said sleepily. She sat up supporting herself with one of her hands and rubbed her eye with the other.

"Oww, my back...what did I sleep on last night?" She looked down at the hard floor, "Oh, yeah, I remember now." She looked around for Cell and spotted him in the air. Woah, I wish I could fly. She stood up as she got a closer look at him.

"I see your awake," he said as he landed. He looked at her and then her eyes. Her eyes! The were so, so, hypnotic or something. Maybe that was the way his eyes were.

"Hey!" she said, "Your eyes are just like mine! But yours are much prettier."

My eyes are pretty? Thats definitly not what everybody else thinks. "Well your's are nice too," he replied. He looked down at his feet. That was a lie. Or was it? He didn't know if he liked them or not.

He stopped thinking and sat down against a pillar. He stared at the girl as she complained how messy her hair was. She tried to comb it down with her hands, but it just went back up again. He had to smile at that, her hair was sticking almost all the way up.

"What's your name anyway?" he asked. She jumped when he said that, because she thought he wasn't looking. How embarassing...

"I don't remember my real name, but my friends used to call me DarkGirl because of how black my hair is. And for some strange reason my nails aren't clear, like normal peple, they're black."

"Well, so are mine."

"But you're not human, are you?"

"I never thought of that..."

"Whatever, I don't care if your human or not. At least I have a freind in this world."

Friend? When did I say I was her friend?

"Everyone seems to be paniking about something, but i can never get an answer out of them. All they say is 'He's gonna kill us all!' or 'It's the end of the world!'"

I guees thats al my failt, but who cares. I've gotta see her eyes closer.

Cell got up and walked over to her. She was about half his size. Pretty small for a thirteen year old. He got on his knees and looked in her eyes closely.

"What are you doing?"

"Quiet, I'm trying to see something." He leaned closer to her.

"uhhh....." He looked very carefuly at her eyes. He gasped, realizing that they were just like his eyes. Exactly the same. He backed away and stood up. He looked to the sky in wonder.

She looked up at his face and asked, "What did you just do?"He put his hand on her small head lightly and wondered what was going on.

"Who did you get your eyes from?"

"I don't know. That wasn't my real family, they adopted me. They found me on the street one day." He stared back down at her in wonder.

Was she an android? That grew like I did?

"I think I'm not human, but I don't know what I am." She took his hand off her head and put it on her shoulder. She looked at him and smiled.

"But I'm glad you let me live with you." Cell was stunned. Who is she? Even more, what is she?

"What do you mean, you're not human?" he said slowly.

"I don't know, but I might look human at first glance, but then if you look closer you can see that I have alot of things that no other human has. Look at my eyes, and my nails. I hardly have to eat, and I could breathe where no one else could." She sighed.

Cell didn't know what to say. He looked at her and noticed how torn up her clothes were. Her hair was all messy and she had scrapes and bruises all over. She looked like she got attacked by something. Wait, it was those guys. He remembered how they looked when they saw him. Them he remembered how the girl looked. She was smiling at me, like I was her best freind or something.

"How do you fly?" Cell almost jumped when she broke the silence.

"It's hard to explain..."

"Please tell me? Come on, just this once?"

"Oh, fine. You push your ki under you and lift yourself up."

"Ok"

*A few miutes later*

"Uh, excuse me, Mr. Cell, but what's ki?"

He almost fell down. A sweatdrop formed on his head.

"Well, um, I don't know how to explain, really..."

"Can you show me then?" she smiled at him.

"Ok." He walked over to her and cupped his hands. A little ball of ki formed emiting a bright blue light. She put out her hand to touch it, but he pulled it away. "If you touch it then you will get burnt. It's like fire, see?" He pressed it into his ring as it melted.

" How big can it get?" she asked.

"Very large in fact. But I don't want to blow up the planet, do I?"

She laughed, "Of course not."

I won't blow it up yet, I have to wait till after the tournament.

"I don't really want to fly myself, I just want to know what it's like. I've never even riden in a car before."

"So thats just another way of asking for a ride, isn't it?" She nodded and smiled.

"Let's go then." He grabed her waist gently and flew up in the air.
