The Music

The Music - Okay, this isn't one of his forms, but I just thought that Cell's theme music deserved a place of it's own. Cell's music evolved with him. Remember how it first sounded, when we saw him for the very first time in his first form? Those rare and fleeting glimpses we'd catch of him? The music was a bit techno, with a strange exotic sound to it. It completely fit his image at that time, in my opinion. Whoever handled the musical score, (from the Frieza saga onward) did a wonderful job. Much better than the very first season of DBZ, recycling music themes every three minutes....

Imperfect Cell (2nd form's) theme. His music was dark and sinister like. It seemed to boom with power, (completely appropriate thanks to 17's little power boost) It sent chills up my spin. Everytime I heard it, I was like, 'Run! He's coming!!!' Now THAT'S how you know when the composers did a good job, when the music actually sounds so expressive, that you can't help but get caught up in it's spell.

Perfect Cell. His music took a totally different approach, much like his form. Instead of getting deeper, as Imperfect Cell's (2nd form) had, Perfect Cell's got HIGHER. Which in a way was even more appropriate. When Cell became perfect, he was much MUCH smaller than before...even Vegeta commented on it. Cell was much lighter on his feet AND in the air. (His second form looked a bit clunky, awkward) He was SMALLER, yet even MORE powerful than before. And so his music celebrated this by becoming even higher in note. It sounded like a flute.
