Cell's Minor Setback Part One

Perfect Cell sat in the waiting room of a hospital, thinking " How in the hell did I get myself into this mess.. " For, in fact, he now had a woman to deal with. In one of the ten days he had been waiting for the Z Warriors, he had gone out barhopping ( unlike him, isn't it? ) and had unfortunately gotten drunk. A woman named Alexa had gotten..very unfortunate. Now Cell had a REAL problem on his hands..a child.

A nurse came out and said in one of those singsong voices, "Mr. Cell..your, er, lady has died, and we're um, afraid YOU'LL have to raise the little girl. "

Cell's blood pressure must've gone up fifty to sixty points. He said, " WHAT?! But...I don't..I mean..I can't.. " He couldn't finish ANY of his sentences, and the nurse chose that time to say, " Stranger still, the child has a tail. She's quite rowdy. " At that Cell perked up a bit.

** Later... **

There was a knock on Goku's door. Goku answered it, and he was very, to say the least..SHOCKED! Cell, standing there, holding what appeared to be a bundle of blankets, and Cell was looking pretty darned desperate. Even Goku could figure out what was going on. After letting Cell in, Goku asked, " How did you get yourself into that fix? " Cell started looking pitiful, and then Chi-Chi came into the room, obviously surprised to find Cell holding a baby. And it was CRYING AT THE TOP OF ITS LUNGS!! Chi-Chi said, "Oh dear, no WONDER she's crying, you're holding her all WRONG!!"

**Days have passed... **

Over the next few days, Cell was getting used to this father thing, and then he got invited to the " Reunion " at Master Roshi's place. After quite a few bits of argument, Cell agreed to go, with Charlotte..

**At the Reunion.. **

EVERYONE was surprised to see Cell..and even more surprised at the fact that he was now a father. Bulma and Chi-Chi were paying a LOT of attention to Charlotte, and Vegeta and Cell were discussing something about how strong the child would be with proper training. Vegeta and Cell were both looking rather proud, and it was then Goku noticed the child would grow up strong.

** 16 years later.. **

Charlotte was training in Capsule Corp's gravity room, at 500g, and was getting even Vegeta to worry. She took training more seriously than anyone ever had. Perhaps it was the concept that she, like her father, had Vegeta's cells, or maybe it was the fact that the World Martial Arts Tournament was coming up.........
