Perfect Cell

Perfect Cell - Finally! He'd done it. He'd, 'become what no other could ever acheive,' he was, 'Perfect'. Ever see that episode BEFORE he became perfect? He got the crap beat out of him by Vegeta. So, Imperfect Cell did something that Perfect Cell would never do. He BEGGED Vegeta to let him absorb #18. Not literally 'begged', but he did whine and scream alot. Yes, this is a major difference between Perfect and Imperfect Cell. Imperfect Cell did what he had to do to become perfect...even feed an arrogant Prince's ego. You see, he realized that he still wasn't powerful enough to defeat Vegeta in this form....plus, he was so CLOSE to perfection. Cell wasn't stupid. He knew what Vegeta's weaknesses were, and he played on them. He tricked Vegeta, saying that he would be an even bigger challenge once he was perfect and 100%. And so, Vegeta, much to Mirai Trunks' dismay, allowed Cell to absorb #18. And then he became PERFECT.

***SIDENOTE: Notice a pattern in Veggie-chan's actions? Check out the Frieza Saga. SSJ Goku purposely allowed Frieza to advance to his full power...just as Vegeta allowed Cell to absorb 18***

Ultimate Perfection - Okay. Perfect Cell. Perfect Cell is like...the adult. There's no other way to put it. It's as though he put everything he learned through his Imperfect Forms, and skillfully used them to his advantage. He was patient. Everything he'd worked for had finally paid off. He'd worked hard and hadn't given up in his younger forms, and now he was at the top, where he indefinately wanted to be. He was calm. He'd learned from his second form that overreacting and getting frustrated didn't get you anywhere. He kept his cool. He laughed at the antic's of the Z senshi as they attempted to bring him down. He even remarked at one point, 'That's right children...have your fun..'. When he became Perfect, he knew he had the power...and he wasn't in any particular rush. He was quite content even, to just stand there, gazing at his new form in complete and unabashed awe. Adults take their time, and Cell was no exception. HE was the one in control. HE was the one calling the shots. And HE would get started when he was good and ready.

We can also see how matured he was in his voice and physical features. His voice was noticablly different. Deeper...more stable and sure. And his body was mature as well. He'd lost that awkwardness he seemed to have before. Now he was fast, gracefully. Now he was complete.

Onward..
